Award winning multi-disciplinary artist Sky Vega has garnered accolades across across a variety of creative platforms.
Her special effects makeup artistry and creative costuming has adorned a slew of celebrities from P!nk, Anderson Cooper,
Dr Oz and Norman Reedus to name a few.
She has worked on a variety of T.V. and film productions such as Good Morning America and The Late Show with Letterman,
to films such as the Hobbit Trilogy.
She was nominated for Best Special Effects Makeup at the Los Angeles Reel Film Festival for her practical FX and prosthetic
work in 2009.
Her work has been exhibited at the IMATS Museum on Special Effects.
Musically, Sky's songs are broadcast on over 76 stations worldwide. She has performed at over 2000 live venues including,
the Hard Rock Cafe, Lekavitos Stadium and Goombay Festival stages and headlined her own marquee in Times Square.
She has exhibited her fine art in Greece and South Africa, worked as an international liase for renound Artist Takis Moraitis
on an attempt to break the record for the worlds the longest painting in Dubai and as a Graphic Artist for the Balkan Press.
In 2015 was named the Viewers Choice winner at BRIC Arts Media Open Call in New York for her prosthetic sculpture "Geodis"
Her paintings and sculptures have been commissioned for interior design work and she is often hired for her digital art
abilities with work spanning album covers, music videos, stop-motion and the like.
Her work is also housed in private collections internationally.
The polymath, is also a published children's book illustrator and certified educator.
Additionally, Sky spearheads Pittaway Art; an online family artist shop.
Combining her expansive artistic knowledge and experience, Sky currently operates as a creative service provider.
